Volkswagen’s plan to launch a new electric vehicle (EV) platform for its luxury brand Porsche is facing another setback. The company has announced that the development of the platform, initially scheduled for 2025, will be delayed by at least two years due to ongoing issues with software integration. As a result, Volkswagen will cut approximately 7,000 jobs across the group in an effort to reduce costs and focus on more profitable areas of its business.
