A federal judge has reportedly cleared the way for Tesla to settle its battery technology theft lawsuit with Rivian. According to sources familiar with the matter, the electric vehicle manufacturers have agreed to a confidential settlement that puts an end to the dispute. The lawsuit, which was filed by Tesla in 2020, accused Rivian of using stolen trade secrets and intellectual property to develop its own electric pickup trucks.
