While the latest version of this product has undergone substantial updates for the new model year, its predecessor remains largely unaltered in design.

Lexus has confirmed significant details while also unveiling pricing for its 2025 ES hybrid. A trip to the exotic location costs a mandatory $1,150. The trim levels comprise Luxury ($50,910), Extremely Luxury ($54,630), F Sport Design Series ($50,125), and F Sport Handling Package ($52,035).

The all-new The all-new 2025 Lexus ES 300h: A Harmonious Blend of Luxury and Efficiency.: A Masterclass in Luxury and Efficiency. With its sleek design, plush interior, and impressive fuel economy, this hybrid sedan is poised to dominate the market once again.

Although the powertrain features a 2.5-litre inline-four engine operating on the Atkinson cycle, it is paired with a familiar Lexus-Toyota hybrid system. The resulting blend produces a potent 215 horsepower, exclusively powering the front wheels.

The sixth-generation ES, introduced for the 2019 model year, received a mid-cycle refresh in 2021, which featured a transition from a nickel-metal hydride to a more compact lithium-ion battery pack. By integrating an advanced cooling system, the battery pack could be relocated from the trunk to beneath the rear seats, liberating additional cargo space while also optimizing the vehicle’s front-to-rear weight distribution.

The ES shares a platform with the Toyota Camry, aligning its hybrid offerings with the Camry’s all-hybrid lineup for 2025, as it receives updated styling and refreshed features. The Camry also boasts the advantage of all-wheel drive in its hybrid variant, while Lexus continues to offer all-wheel drive exclusively on non-hybrid versions of the ES.

While the 2025 ES hybrid may not receive the same upgrades as its Toyota counterpart, Lexus appears poised to take a more aggressive stance on future electric vehicle development. The RZ is currently available, with additional ones forthcoming on the horizon. The luxurious brand has hinted at an LF-ZL concept that is reportedly a preview of a mass-produced electric vehicle scheduled to arrive in 2026, and has shared with Green Car Reports that an 800-volt EV architecture will be employed in certain upcoming models.
