SGMW became first Chinese automaker to produce 8 million MPVs

On August 22, the SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) three way partnership introduced that its 8 millionth MPV, the Starlight 730, rolled off the manufacturing line in China, making it the primary Chinese language automaker to attain this milestone. At present, SGMW’s MPV fashions available on the market embrace the Jia Chen, Hongguang, Zhengcheng, and Kaijie, with the very first mannequin being the Wuling Hongguang, which was launched in 2010.
