BYD sells 377,628 passenger cars in June, exports surge 230%

BYD Group offered 377,628 passenger automobiles in June, practically flat from Could and up 11% from the identical month the earlier 12 months. This marks BYD’s highest month-to-month gross sales in 2025 thus far.

Gross sales of all automobiles, together with industrial and buses, reached 382,585 items in June.

BYD ceased producing ICE-only automobiles in April 2022 and now sells solely battery electrical automobiles (BEVs) and plug-in electrical automobiles (PHEVs).

BYD offered 3 million automobiles in 2023 and 4.3 million in 2024, and is predicted to ship round 5.5 million items in 2025 and 6.5 million in 2026.

Manufacturing and abroad market

BYD produced 340,570 passenger automobiles in June, an almost flat enhance from the identical month final 12 months. Of it, 189,079 have been BEVs and 151,491 have been PHEVs.
