Stellantis-backed Leapmotor B10 interior spied ahead of sales in China and Europe

Freshly leaked spy shots of the Leapmotor B10 have surfaced online, offering a glimpse into the electric vehicle’s ongoing test drive phase in China. Unveiled at the prestigious Paris Motor Show last year, the Leapmotor B10 is poised to make a global impact, with production planned for both European and Chinese markets.

Stellantis-backed Leapmotor has previously announced plans for a portfolio of four vehicle series: A, B, C, and D. The B10 SUV is the flagship model within the B series, a range of Chinese vehicles priced between 100,000 and 150,000 yuan, equivalent to approximately $14,050 to $21,100 USD.

The interior design of the B10 differs significantly from that of the C10. The central console features a sleek, floating-mounted infotainment screen that commands attention. The flat-bottomed, two-spoke steering wheel appears to feature solely a pair of scroll-wheel controls. A tiny instrument cluster adorns the steering column.

Twin Wi-Fi cell phone chargers seem to be drifting aimlessly on the middle console, halting just short of reaching the dashboard’s full extension. Here’s a compact storage solution for your desk: under this surface, you’ll find ample space for holding pens, papers, and other office essentials within easy reach.

The photographs also extend to the rear bench when taken with Autohome. The area appears heavily congested with equipment, leaving limited visibility. While there appears to be a potential tray on the underside of the middle console, further investigation is required to confirm its purpose and functionality. It’s possible that this might actually be a refrigerator.

While maintaining a futuristic aesthetic, the B10’s exterior design harmoniously integrates the signature styling cues of the Leapmotor brand, as evidenced by its sleek, aerodynamic profile. The front and rear facades boast a striking fusion of LED headlights and taillights that dynamically sweep across the vehicle’s surface, creating an unmistakable visual identity. The vehicle measures 4515mm in length, 1885mm in width, and 1655mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2735mm. The various models within the automotive range all feature 18-inch wheels, while their curb weights span a relatively narrow range, ranging from 1670 kilograms to 1705 kilograms.

The entry-level variants employ a 132 kW electric motor, capable of propelling the B10 to a top speed of 160 km/h. Meanwhile, high-performance variants utilize a powerful 160-kilowatt electric motor, allowing the vehicle to reach a top speed of 170 kilometers per hour.

Currently, there is reportedly only an all-electric variant of the B10, with expectations that its range will exceed 600 kilometers. Sometime in the future, we can expect to see a production-ready EREV model hit the market.

According to data provided by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, it is expected that high-end vehicles will be equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems featuring lidar technology, as well as sophisticated suites of sensors, including cameras.

The itemizing information now printed suggests a possibility that the B10 may debut in China within the initial quarter of 2025. Gross sales in Europe are expected to commence at an unspecified point in time during 2025.

Stellantis acquired a 20% shareholding in Leapmotor approximately 12 months ago, further solidifying its majority ownership position within their joint venture, Leapmotor Worldwide. The corporation has been manufacturing the T03 in Poland, with potential plans to also produce the B10 at this same facility.
