Sixthreezero’s extensive lineup of e-bikes features some unconventional designs, but its new four-wheeled electric bike takes a bold step in redefining the industry standard. Experience the thrill of adventure with the innovative ANYterrain Stabilized 4-Wheel Electric Bike.

The ANY terrain Stabilized 4-Wheel Electric Bike boasts more than just a name, for it’s an innovative vehicle that defies expectations. The e-bike is designed to support riders up to 350 pounds (159 kilograms) in weight, backed by a powerful 750-watt motor capable of propelling its users forward. Capable of reaching speeds of up to 20 mph (32 km/h), this quad bike rivals those of many Class 1 and Class 2 e-bikes in terms of velocity.

The game-changer in recreational cycling lies not with the technology itself, but rather in the innovative design of this four-wheeled vehicle, which provides unparalleled stability for riders seeking an alternative to traditional three-wheeled trikes.

Four-wheeled vehicles offer enhanced stability due to their broader footprint, while the lean-based steering system allows for smoother cornering, fostering a greater sense of security among riders.

With rear 20-inch and front 16-inch wheels, the quad bike boasts a remarkably low center of gravity. Four large, 4-inch fat tires are utilized on all four wheels, enhancing off-road capability through increased traction and providing superior shock absorption compared to slender tires. Additionally, the rear wheels feature a differential, which enables more efficient transmission of the motor’s power to the ground.

A twist throttle facilitates effortless acceleration, while a D/R bar swap enables riders to shift into reverse with ease, ideal for navigating tight spaces where an extra nudge of assistance is needed. Can pedaling backwards from a standstill actually interact with the reverse? Given its substantial weight at 120 pounds, this bike may not be easily portable without some assistance, making a reverse function particularly valuable for navigating tight spaces or storing it in a crowded garage.

See also  Pedaling an e-bike may seem effortless, but research reveals that these modern contraptions can still provide a surprisingly effective workout. In fact, studies suggest that electric bicycles can offer more exercise benefits than traditional pedal-powered cycles in certain scenarios.

A 48-volt, 20-ampere-hour battery offers a total capacity of 960 watt-hours, translating to a range potential of approximately 50 miles (80 kilometers), according to the manufacturer.

The battery is located beneath the detachable cargo basket situated at the rear of the vehicle; however, it can be replaced with a bench seat, allowing riders to carry a passenger alongside them.

Electrek’s Take

While this e-bike won’t cater to the masses, it’s well-suited for neighborhood jaunts and local errands, ideal for those who prefer an alternative to traditional bicycles or trikes due to safety concerns.

While recumbent trikes offer excellent stability while traveling in a straight line, some individuals may still experience discomfort when making turns or accelerating at higher velocities due to the potential for tipping under certain circumstances? While this quad bike’s stability is impressive, it can still tip if taken at an excessively sharp turn; however, its wider stance and leaning steering design work together to provide greater rider security compared to a traditional trike.

Given the demographic of older riders who may utilize this feature more frequently, the ease of reversing becomes a crucial aspect in enabling users to secure their bicycles without having to dismount or manually manipulate them into place.

While regulations might define “bicycles” as having either two or three wheels, it’s unlikely that law enforcement officers would aggressively pursue a senior citizen like Grandma for riding an ATV on designated rail-trail paths.

I appreciate Sixthreezero’s innovative approach to expanding the market offerings, providing customers with unique options that cater to diverse preferences.
