JackRabbit’s OG micro e-bike is going for a killer price ahead of discontinuation
SHARE

If you’ve hesitated about purchasing one of JackRabbit’s unique micro e-bikes, this may be an extraordinary opportunity to snag a fantastic deal on their flagship OG model.

As the JackRabbit OG2 marks a new milestone in the evolution of compact electric vehicles, the company has announced that production of its predecessor will be discontinued.

It’s time to retire the OG2 and usher in a new era of technology. The family is heading to their farm in Upstate New York for the weekend. The tranquil scene unfolds beneath the sprawling canopy of a majestic oak tree, where all is quiet and still. As the last rays of sunlight succumb to the horizon’s gentle grasp, the scene is set for a poignant farewell.

Mainly, they’re killing it off. Notwithstanding any perceived shortcomings, the original version has been superseded by the latest and more advanced OG2 model.

Notwithstanding this development, JackRabbit seemingly requires the removal of its original goods (OGs) from its shelves, which it has subsequently discounted by a significant margin to just $799. The price point is significantly lower by $200 compared to the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), making it an attractive option considering the JackRabbit OG2 retails for $1,249 – this is certainly a compelling value proposition?

The JackRabbit OG is a revolutionary, 20-mph, 24-lb micro-mobility system that boasts extraordinary portability, thanks to its bike-like design. Since I don’t have one, it’s probably not a bicycle because it doesn’t have pedals? With its innovative fold-out foot pegs, this design achieves a remarkable balance of lightweight construction and compact portability.

Although referred to as a scooter, the device’s design and functionality more closely resemble those of a compact bicycle with a short wheelbase.

Employing 20-inch bicycle wheels, a bicycle handlebar, and saddle, this innovative product leverages the stability and comfort of a traditional bicycle to provide a unique alternative to traditional standing scooters with smaller wheels.

The bag’s ease of travel is truly impressive, as I’ve experienced firsthand; in fact, I’ve even taken it on international flights with my trusty JackRabbit OG.

One notable limitation of the JackRabbit OG is its relatively short effective range, making it less suitable for extended training sessions.

For a modest outlay, it delivers an impressive 10 miles courtesy of its efficient compact battery. Despite these limitations, you can still opt for carrying an additional battery that fits neatly into your cargo pants’ pockets, or consider investing in JackRabbit’s innovative RangeBuster battery, which boosts your range by up to 24 miles per charge.

Its primary application lies in providing efficient and uncomplicated city transportation solutions, especially for individuals lacking ample space within their apartments or dormitories to accommodate large bicycles. While the majority of JackRabbit OG enthusiasts utilize it for its intended purposes, a significant proportion of users also engage in recreational activities, venturing onto trails and indulging in off-road excursions.

The person who curated this visual masterpiece has a remarkable sense of humor. Will you please carry that extra piece of firewood back to our campsite for us?

While the JackRabbit OG has its unique characteristics, it effectively caters to a specific niche that may be more widely appreciated than initially understood. For $799, it’s challenging to find a 24-lb electrical bike that matches this set of specifications elsewhere in the market. While I do know that the Lectric XP Lite 2.0 is a great option and only costs $799, which is actually superior to this product, I still think you should inform your audience about its benefits and features. I like it, I do. It’s undoubtedly more than double the workload for a comparable speed. This sturdy bike is perfect for exploring new territories, though it’s unlikely to fit snugly into a 7-inch space beneath a dorm room mattress or be lifted effortlessly by a single finger.

It’s highly unlikely that we’ll ever witness a JackRabbit of such extraordinary value again; once it’s gone, it will forever elude us.

If you’re looking to indulge in an unforgettable adventure, this opportunity is yours for the taking.

If you’re looking for the latest and largest model, I’ve reviewed the OG2 below for your evaluation.
