Ford’s top-selling model in Europe has just been revolutionised with a cutting-edge all-electric powertrain, a sleek and sporty redesign, and unparalleled interior space. The all-electric Ford Puma Gen-E has finally arrived. Discover the latest advancements in electric vehicles with Ford’s newest eco-friendly offering.

Here’s the improved text: The Puma is a resounding success, having emerged as Ford’s top-selling vehicle in Europe. But it’s not just its conventional variants that are winning hearts – the all-electric Puma is poised to reinvigorate this popular compact crossover.

Ford unveiled its innovative Puma Gen-E EV on Tuesday, featuring a fresh design, a cutting-edge electric powertrain, and enhanced interior space.

According to Jon Williams, General Manager of Ford Model e and Blue in Europe, the Puma Gen-E is our best creation yet at Puma. Williams describes the brand-new Puma EV as “Probably the most enjoyable driving experience to date.”

Discovering a refined appearance, you’ll enjoy a sleek new facelift featuring a reimagined exterior with a streamlined design that replaces the traditional grille. Ford has noted that the “contemporary face” of the automotive industry is impressed with the Mustang Mach-E. The Puma’s electric variant boasts a refined aesthetic, featuring a rear spoiler and updated wheels that harmonize with its “electrical vibe.” According to Ford, these design enhancements enable the EV to cut through the air more efficiently, ultimately translating to improved performance.

The revised text reads: It boasts an innovative GigaBox, setting a new standard for generous luggage capacity. The compact powertrain enables a spacious interior, offering up to 574 litres of cargo capacity, rivalling that of larger SUVs. There’s a compact yet practical 43-liter front trunk (frunk) to store your essentials.

Meets Ford’s electric Puma Generation E.

The electric Ford Puma eGen provides a WLTP range of up to 234 miles (376 km), with an efficiency rating of 13.1 kWh per 100 kilometres. Within the bustling metropolis, the Puma EV boasts an impressive range of up to 325 miles (523 km), more than ample to power your daily commute with ease.

The revolutionary Pumpa EV boasts lightning-fast charging capabilities, allowing it to replenish its battery from 10% to 80% in just 23 minutes with speeds of up to 100 kW.

The all-new Ford Puma, a compact crossover with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, redefines the boundaries of its class.

This innovative electric vehicle features a cutting-edge 12.8-inch digital display and two 12-inch infotainment screens, seamlessly integrating Wi-Fi connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support for an unparalleled driving experience. The vehicle also maintains numerous physical controls, including those for climate management, found in the gas-powered model.

Clever Adaptive Cruise Control and innovative Dynamic Matrix LED headlights, featuring predictive dynamic bending capabilities.

Ford’s Electrical Architecture for Puma Generation-E Inside

Ford will simultaneously manufacture both electric and gasoline-powered Puma models at its Craiova, Romania facility. The highly anticipated Puma Gen-E is now available for purchase as of Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in spring 2025.

Ford Puma’s Genesis-inspired design gives it a premium appeal, with a starting price that varies greatly depending on the trim level.

The electric Ford Puma starts at a manufacturer-recommended retail price of approximately $38,800 (€36,900) in Europe, with promotional pricing closer to $38,000 (€36,162). The Premium trim starts at $41,500 (approximately €39,400), featuring 18-inch alloy wheels and advanced matrix LED headlights.

In the UK, the all-electric Ford Puma starts from approximately £29,995, with the Premium trim priced at around £31,995. Meanwhile, the base model commences at roughly £38,000.
