Ford’s dealers are now highly motivated to participate in the company’s innovative new pilot program. Sellers can potentially earn up to $1,500 for every F-150 Lightning ordered through one of Ford’s innovative Retail Replenishment Facilities. For the next month, Ford dealers can earn up to $22,500 through the innovative program.

Ford CEO Jim Farley unveiled plans at Capital Markets Day in May to simplify the process of purchasing an electric vehicle.

The adjustments comprised transparent pricing, enhanced buyer awareness, and remote inventory options. Ford is poised to expedite the delivery of vehicles to customers by establishing Retail Replenishment Centers, which would enable electric vehicles to be shipped to dealerships within a mere seven days on average.

To incentivise sales of the F-150 Lightning model, Ford provides up to $1,500 in compensation to dealerships that place orders through a brand-new memo.

The pilot program will run from October 15 through November 15, 2024. Ford encourages sellers to thoroughly inspect and verify their expertise with the new EV distribution facilities through this system.

As Ride-Sharing and Car-Sharing services expand across the US, Ford dealerships can stockpile fewer vehicles, offering customers a broader range of options.

Ford is incentivizing dealerships with a $1,000 payment for each F-150 Lightning sold, applicable to XLT, Flash, Lariat, and Platinum trim levels when purchased through an RRC (Retailer Reservation Confirmation). If a vendor places an order exceeding 9, with a maximum of 15, the incentive will rise to $1,500. Throughout each month, sellers have the opportunity to earn up to $22,500.

Ford will compensate dealerships for promoting its new electric pickup truck, F-150 Lightning, according to Automotive News.

Ford’s vendors observed that this system is intended to enhance both the logistical efficiency and engagement capabilities of RRCs, thereby fostering greater collaboration.

The incentive excludes the base F-150 Lightning Professional trim, which is not eligible for retail purchase.

As factors emerge, this system may indeed have both positive and negative consequences for consumers. Sellers may need to liquidate F-150 Lightning inventory at discounted rates, while others can capitalize on scarcity by promoting models with low supply.

Despite this, few visits to dealerships may result from such an assumption. Ford’s pilot program appears poised to revive older styles ahead of the debut of its all-new 2025 F-150 Lightning?

(EPA-est miles)
XLT $62,995 240
Flash $67,995 320
Lariat $76,995 320
Platinum $84,995 300
Platinum Black $92,995 300

Ford has recently unveiled attractive incentives for its electric trucks, offering compelling deals to customers. Are you looking to upgrade your ride? The 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning now offers an attractive financing option – 0% APR for 60 months, making it a tantalizing opportunity to get behind the wheel of this electrifying pickup truck.

Through its newly introduced “Ford Energy Promise,” all electric vehicle (EV) customers are entitled to a complimentary Level 2 home charger, with Ford covering the cost of installation. The promotional offer includes a $2,000 cash bonus that can be combined with 0% financing options.
