We’re nearly there. Jaguar is set to officially launch the production version of its inaugural electric vehicle, the I-PACE, on Thursday.

During the event, Jaguar provided several details about its test program.

The British automaker has been providing tantalizing previews of its I-Tempo test drive programme, enticing prospective customers to experience its features firsthand.

Last year, they extended an invitation to a lady from California to accompany them on a 200-mile coastal driving excursion. Last month, they introduced several prototypes to the Arctic Circle to test their cars under extreme conditions.

The Jaguar I-PACE’s charging time has been confirmed by the company, with the capability to recharge from zero to 80% in approximately 45 minutes using a 100 kW charger.

The corporation further elaborated on its comprehensive testing regimen for the vehicle.

“With over 1.5 million test miles and an additional 11,000 hours of rigorous simulation experience from more than 200 manufacturing prototypes, the Jaguar design and engineering teams have meticulously crafted an exceptional all-electric SUV capable of withstanding diverse market conditions globally.”

As part of their strategic launch, they will reveal their pioneering manufacturing model during an unprecedented global broadcast on March 1 at 1:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CET, preceding its official public premiere at the esteemed Geneva Motor Show on March 6.

“Ian Callum, Jaguar’s director of design, responded promptly:”

As we unveiled the I-PACE concept in 2016, we’ve been eagerly anticipating this moment. The all-electric I-PACE is poised to be a trailblazer within our organization, with far-reaching implications that promise to transform the industry altogether? Never have I felt such unbridled enthusiasm for a product’s debut – the global community is eagerly anticipating its arrival, and I’m thrilled to share that our team has accomplished incredible feats in crafting this revolutionary vehicle.

The I-PACE will become the latest addition to the Jaguar ‘PACE’ SUV family pictured above.

According to Jaguar, a significant number of potential customers have expressed interest in purchasing their vehicle.

It’s been eagerly awaited, largely because of its stunning visual appeal. While the electric car doesn’t revolutionize efficiency standards, it may still sway some loyal Jaguar enthusiasts towards making the switch to an electric vehicle.
