The 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz’s Electrify America charging package includes?

Volkswagen of America and Electrify America swiftly launched a three-year charging subscription for the 2025 ID model, providing owners with reliable and convenient access to charging infrastructure. Buzz.

The 2025 ID. The Buzz charging plan includes a three-year subscription to Electrify America’s Go+ membership, offering preferred rates that yield approximately 25% in cost savings compared to standard pay-per-use options, as well as 500 kWh of complimentary charging.

Approximately 1,250 to 2,000 miles of driving can be expected from 500 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of charging, depending on the electric vehicle’s efficiency, driving conditions, speed, and other factors.

The ID. Buzz additionally options Plug&Costperformance, which streamlines the charging course of at Electrify America stations. By activating Plug&Cost within the Electrify America cell app, ID. Drivers simply plug in their electric vehicles, initiating a seamless charging process. (I’ve Plug&Cost for my VW ID.4, and it really works nice. It’s a time saver.)

In 2021, Electrify America and Volkswagen formed a strategic partnership for US charging services, exclusively supporting the ID.4 launch with a generous offer: three years of complimentary unlimited charging. In 2022, it was modified to a few years of 30-minute complimentary charging, and in 2023, Plug&Cost was added to 2022’s supply. The 2024 ID.4 trim lineup mirrors that of the 2025 ID.4 with minimal differences. Here’s a revised version:
