A Xpeng P7+ electric liftback has been spotted at a supplier ahead of its official release on October 10. Chinese online communities have been sharing P7+ batches on automotive transportation platforms. The following cars are set to arrive in showrooms. The Xpeng P7+, a sleek 5-meter liftback, boasts a impressive 308 horsepower.

XPeng is a prominent Chinese electric vehicle (NEV) manufacturer founded in 2014. The current lineup consists of six vehicles: the G6 and G9 crossover models, as well as the P5, P7i, Mona M03 sedan offerings, and the X9 minivan. The latest addition to the model’s lineup is the Xpeng P7+, a sleek and modern liftback. Sellers have already secured pre-orders ahead of the formal market release.

Xpeng Motors’ high-end electric sedan, the P7+, has officially hit the market in China.

The first batch of XPeng’s upgraded P7+, the P7+, has officially gone on sale at Chinese dealerships. A type of liftback has been brought to the showroom for display. The sleek vehicle boasts a rich purple hue for its physique, complemented by a glossy black finish on the roof and tasteful badges that add a touch of sophistication. A nearby automobile, featuring a sleek silver exterior and gleaming chrome accents on its emblems, was spotted following the Xpeng retailer’s vehicle.

At roughly the same moment, social media users circulated a picture of Xpeng P7+ liftback sedans being transported on automotive carriers within mainland China. Units are being dispatched to Xpeng’s showrooms directly from the manufacturing facility. These vehicles are showcased and available for test drives at CarNewsChina. Xpeng aims to stock its showrooms with P7+ liftback models ahead of schedule, preceding the official October 10 launch date.

The Xpeng P7+, slated for its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show on October 14, may generate significant buzz in the automotive industry. Xpeng is set to unveil its AI-powered autonomous vehicle at the upcoming exhibition. The model’s officials proudly touted the capabilities of the Eagle Eye end-to-end AI system, boasting its ability to provide L3+ level driver assistance.

The Xpeng P7+, a substantial liftback boasting a sleek, high-gloss exterior design. The sleek design features a subtly angled bonnet line that gently slopes towards the front of the vehicle, while the roofline presents a dynamic, slanting silhouette that adds to the overall sense of momentum and fluidity. This sleek sedan boasts retractable door handles and a sporty black rear spoiler. The automotive’s entrance finish embodies the sleek and modern RoboFace design aesthetic. The rear design features a sleek, single LED taillight strip for enhanced visibility and visual appeal. The Xpeng P7+’s dimensions measure 5056mm in length, 1937mm in width, and 1512mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm.

The Xpeng P7+ offers a dual-powertrain configuration, featuring two distinct options for drivers. The entry-level electric automobile features a sole electric motor delivering 180 kW (241 horsepower). The exceptionally powerful model features a high-performance electric motor delivering 230 kilowatts of power, equivalent to 308 horsepower. The P7+ offers two LFP battery options: a 60.7-kilowatt-hour variant capable of delivering up to 575 kilometers on a single charge, as measured by the China Light-Duty Vehicle Emissions Test Cycle (CLTC); and a larger 76.3-kilowatt-hour battery that can provide an estimated range of 685 kilometers under the same CLTC test conditions. Power consumption is estimated to be around 11 kilowatt-hours per 100 kilometers.

According to CarNewsChina’s analysis, Xpeng has managed to achieve only 34.3% of its yearly sales target as of September 2024, a 12.7% drop below the average attainment rate among Chinese new-energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturers.
