Hyundai’s inaugural three-row electric SUV is on the horizon. The near-production-ready IONIQ 5 was spotted with significantly reduced camouflage, showcasing subtle design tweaks as Hyundai gears up for its imminent official premiere later this year?

Following its record-breaking third-quarter retail sales performance, Hyundai seeks to capitalize on its momentum and expand its market share in the US automotive landscape further.

Hyundai is poised to unveil its massive $7.6 billion electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Georgia, with doors expected to open as early as this month.

The inaugural production model of the upgraded 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is scheduled to begin its journey down the assembly line. With an added layer of variability, heightened performance, and a Tesla-standardized NACS charging port, Hyundai is poised to sustain its momentum through 2025.

Later this year, Hyundai will debut its first three-row electric SUV, the Ioniq 7. Hyundai recently confirmed plans to build its larger electric SUV model alongside the newly launched IONIQ 5 at a facility in Georgia, USA.

Following its debut as the Hyundai SEVEN concept at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, we gained our first glimpse of the production version. Three years on, Hyundai is poised to officially unveil its production prototype.

Hyundai’s upcoming three-row electric SUV is set to be called the IONIQ 9, rather than initially rumored IONIQ 7, solidifying its position as a flagship model.

Ahead of its highly anticipated launch later this year, the IONIQ 9 has been spotted testing on US roads. Freshly revealed images of the IONIQ 5 provide an unprecedented glimpse into the SUV’s design.

As production draws closer, the IONIQ 5 bears a striking resemblance to its concept design unveiled in 2021. Count on seeing innovative Hyundai design elements showcased on recent models such as the 2025 IONIQ 5 and Santa Fe designs.

As sibling brand Kia’s three-row EV9 electric SUV starts strong in the US market, Hyundai aims to replicate its sibling’s success.

Although Hyundai hasn’t publicly disclosed pricing information, industry insiders anticipate the IONIQ 5 will launch around $55,000, mirroring the starting price of its sibling, the EV9. Priced in the range of $75,000 or more, a fully loaded model of this luxury SUV is likely to command a premium. The vehicle’s range is expected to exceed 300 miles in variety. The Kia EV9 boasts an impressive EPA-estimated range of up to 304 miles, thanks to its shared E-GMP platform with the forthcoming IONIQ 5.
