The show features a specially designed 1.6-inch display screen optimized for e-mountain bikes. Developed to securely attach behind the handlebars of e-mountain bikes, providing enhanced protection against potential injuries in the event of a crash.
Additionally, supreme for mountain biking is Bosch’s latest PowerTube 800, its most powerful electric bicycle battery to date. While high-end e-bikes with Bosch motors have traditionally adopted a “less is more” approach to battery capacity, prioritizing efficiency over brute force, this trend has recently been inverted in lower-tier models that are increasingly equipped with larger batteries and motors. Given the absence of a hand throttle on Bosch e-bikes, it’s possible for them to operate for extended periods on the same battery size, thereby enabling the use of smaller packs compared to throttle-equipped electric bicycles. Now boasting an impressive 800Wh capacity, Bosch’s flagship battery pack rivals many of its peers’ largest offerings in the market.
To cater to varying preferences, the corporation has also unveiled the PowerTube 600, a new option suitable for individuals seeking a slightly more modest battery capacity compared to the PowerTube 800. For those seeking a supplementary power boost, the PowerMore 250 water bottle-sized battery will be integrated as an auxiliary pack on e-bikes.
