The Voyah Dreamer, a brand-new seven-seat multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), officially debuted on September 19, offering eight trims with a price range spanning 329,900 to 449,900 yuan, or approximately 46,700 to 63,700 USD. PHEVs (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles) and EVs (Electric Vehicles) in all their variations are easily accessible. The all-new Voyah Dreamer boasts a refreshed design, both interior and exterior, along with significant upgrades to its technology features, including the debut of Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.0 and Qiankun Active Defense System (ADS) 3.0 software.

By 12:30 PM on September 19, pre-orders for Voyah’s inaugural Dreamer model had surpassed 21,462 units, a testament to its burgeoning popularity.

What are the key differences between the Qiankun and Kunpeng models?

The eight trims are observed as follows:

  • PHEV four-wheel drive Wonderful Kunpeng
  • PHEV four-wheel drive Premium Kunpeng
  • PHEV four-wheel drive Flagship Kunpeng
  • PHEV four-wheel drive Flagship Qiankun
  • EV four-wheel drive Wonderful Kunpeng
  • EV four-wheel drive Premium Kunpeng
  • EV four-wheel drive Flagship Kunpeng
  • EV four-wheel drive Flagship Qiankun

The Kunpeng model comes with the Voyah Xiaoyao Cockpit & Voyah Kunpeng ADS system.

The Qiankun model, now equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 and HarmonyOS 4.0, is expected to debut in November, making the Voyah Dreamer the globe’s first MPV to integrate these cutting-edge technologies.

The Huawei ADS 3.0 boasts an impressive array of sensors, including a 192-line lidar, three millimeter-wave radars, and 11 high-definition cameras, comprising a total of 27 cutting-edge sensing devices on the vehicle.

The exterior design features a prominent entrance grille comprising 34 slender, polished chrome strips, deliberately echoing the 34 provincial administrative divisions in China, serving as a distinctive visual reference to the country’s diverse regions. Two new single-colour exterior paints, ‘Inexperienced’ and ‘Gold’, as well as a dual-colour paint featuring a combination of ‘Grey’ and ‘Gold’, have now been introduced. The design of the rim model has undergone further modifications compared to its 2024 predecessor. The Voyah Dreamer, a brand-new medium-to-large multipurpose vehicle (MPV), boasts dimensions of 5315mm in length, 1980mm in width, and 1820mm in height, with a wheelbase measuring 3200mm.

The innovative energy source originates from a sophisticated electrical four-wheel drive system, as is typically the case. The Electric Vehicle (EV) variant is equipped with two electric motors that collectively produce a total output power of 320 kilowatts (equivalent to 429 horsepower) and a peak torque of 620 Newton-meters. The 108.73 kWh ternary lithium-ion battery pack boasts an impressive 650 km range (based on the China Light Truck Cycle, CLTC).

The plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variant is driven by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 110 kilowatts (148 horsepower) and 220 newton-metres, paired with twin electric motors delivering a combined output of 310 kilowatts (416 horsepower) and torque of 620 newton-metres. The top speed recorded is approximately 203 kilometres per hour. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a 41.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, enabling a purely electric driving range of up to 235 kilometers according to the Chinese Laboratory Test Cycle (CLTC). The excellent range is approximately 1,411 kilometres on a full tank and at full capacity?

The interior design has undergone a transformation, now featuring two fresh hues – Cloud Grey and Wooden Apricot – in addition to its existing palette. The cockpit’s layout has been revamped to feature two 15.4-inch displays as central management and co-pilot screens, replacing the previous triple-screen setup, which now pairs with a 10.25-inch full-color LCD instrument panel and a 29-inch augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD). The range of physical controls on the central console has been condensed, replaced by the inclusion of two wireless charging pads capable of powering devices at 50 watts each.

While the Qiankun’s cockpit runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.0 and pairs it with a Qualcomm 8295P processor, the Kunpeng model leverages Voyah’s Xiaoyao cockpit system for its power source.

The mid-console comes equipped with a 13L fridge capable of delivering cooling from minus six degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius and heating from 30 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius. The refrigerator may be accessed from the rear compartment?

The all-new Voyah Dreamer features a unique 2+2+3 seven-seat configuration. Two rows of seats offer heating, ventilation, and a soothing 10-point massage function for optimal comfort. The second-row zero-gravity seat features a 4-way adjustable leg rest, a 6-inch high-definition touchscreen armrest, and a foldable mini workstation. Can a 17.3-inch 3K ultra-high-definition leisure display screen be obtained? The third-row seats provide electrically adjustable features, including the ability to adjust backrest angles and move the seating position forward or backward, as well as heating functionality.

Typically, the standard tank capacity amounts to approximately 502 liters. The third row of seats can be easily stowed away with a single button press, while the trunk volume expands to a generous 2700 litres.

Innovative configurations feature a comprehensive 22-channel high-definition audio system, adjustable ambient lighting, dual sliding sunroofs, an in-cabin fragrance dispersal system, intelligent voice control, intuitive multi-touch interfaces, and seamless cell phone integration projections. What’s more, our navigation performance has been upgraded to provide lane-level navigation rendering and alert users with a gentle countdown.
