According to Hyundai North America CEO Jose Munoz, the sporty electric SUV provides a groundbreaking level of driving enthusiasm for electric vehicles, revolutionizing the standard of performance and excitement in this segment.
Based on Hyundai’s cutting-edge E-GMP platform, the IONIQ 5 N boasts a substantial 641 horsepower, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.25 seconds.
While not the most potent Hyundai ever produced, this model is also its most enjoyable to operate. Hyundai equips the efficiency-focused EV with performance-enhancing features such as N Grin Enhance, N Drift Optimizer, and N Torque Distribution, designed to unleash its track-ready potential.
This racing simulator also features N e-shift and N Lively Sound technology, effectively recreating the sensations and sounds of a premium gasoline-powered vehicle. Hyundai has equipped the vehicle with its most potent N-tuned braking technology to effectively manage the abundant energy on offer.

As soon as you’re fully charged, you can choose between a complimentary N-branded charger and a $450 ChargePoint credit. After purchase, you will have 90 days to complete the setup of your hardware.
Hyundai has announced that owners of the IONIQ 5 N who acquired their vehicle before July 16, 2024 are eligible to exchange or redeem their model for an updated version by October 14, 2024. While awaiting installation, Hyundai House will ensure that all necessary hardware is delivered and installed by January 12, 2025.
