Bike Of The Day: 2012 Ducati Sport Classic 1000 Monoposto
SHARE

This 2012 Ducati SportClassic 1000 Monoposto is a striking example of an iconic café-racer-inspired sportbike, tailored to elevate both its aesthetics and performance. The burnt yellow hue of this motorcycle’s end is strikingly highlighted by a ‘Clockwork Ducati’ decal on its sleek Saarland-finish rear, complemented by a bold black racing stripe, distinctive custom accents at the rear, and a unique entrance fender that adds to its allure. To enhance its sleek appearance, the bike features a premium black anodized fork sleeve courtesy of Barni Racing Crew, complemented by tasteful black anodized accents from Toccio Racing that adorn the rear hub, calliper bracket, handlebars, and sprocket.

Beauty upgrades feature Rizoma handlebar caps, a Corse Dynamics 7-inch LED headlight, a Ducati Monster Sprint mount kit, and 17-inch Alpina alloy wheels wrapped in fresh Pirelli Phantom tyres.

Powered by a robust 91bhp 992cc V-twin engine, the bike is matched to a smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox for optimal performance. The engine has been comprehensively modified with ECU tuning, complemented by a Rizoma timing belt cowl, clutch stress plate, clutch cowl, and camshaft cowl, as well as high-performance intake equipment from Corse Dynamics, a white ceramic-coated Zard stainless-steel exhaust system, and Toccio Racing’s 520 chain gear kit.
