Voyah Dreamer gets the Huawei treatment for the 2025 model year
SHARE

The all-new Voyah Dreamer MPV was officially introduced on August 15, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s journey towards innovative mobility solutions.

Huawei has unveiled the facelifted model of its automotive, which first entered the market in 2022. The revamped design can be viewed as a significant makeover for the brand. Despite appearances, these alterations are not solely cosmetic, as they also involve adjustments to both configuration and functionality. The all-new Dreamer smartphone will start taking pre-orders on August 28.

The 2025 Dreamer’s exterior design is defined by a fresh, all-new grille. While retaining its traditional silhouette, the grille’s modern iteration features 34 slender chrome strips that run vertically, accompanied by a subtle shading effect at both the top and bottom. The 34 stripes on the flag represent the 34 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions that comprise China. The chrome trim on Chrome’s exterior design now extends to cover the entrance lip, as well as the edges of the air inlets on both sides, making them even more prominent features. Automotive variants with excessive specifications typically feature a lidar unit discreetly positioned on top of the windshield. According to Chinese-language reports, the new design of vehicles features a significantly longer waistline stretching from the headlights to the rear lights, accompanied by more linear and streamlined general side profiles. At our upcoming press conference, attendees will have the opportunity to witness a range of innovative wheel designs, including some featuring significantly fewer spoke counts.

The dimensions of the 2025 model’s mannequin differ minimally, measuring 5315mm in length, 1980mm in width, and 1820mm in height, with an unaltered wheelbase of 3200mm. The vehicle’s dimensions are as follows: overall length of 5315 millimeters, width of 1985 millimeters, and height of 1800 millimeters.

The 2025 Voyager leverages Voyah’s innovative Lanhai energy system, with both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric variants available for its multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) iteration. The Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) features an engine boasting a thermal efficiency of approximately 45.18 percent.

What little information emerged about the ceremony itself remained scarce. Notwithstanding the discussion, it is reported that the legroom in the third row has increased by 10% for enhanced passenger comfort. This upgrade, touted as a comprehensive overhaul of the interior, primarily comprises comfort-oriented enhancements, including a boost in the rear seat’s peak height for third-row passengers and improved shoulder support for their benefit.

The innovative cockpit is expected to integrate seamlessly with the Huawei-developed HarmonyOS system, fostering a harmonious driving experience. Additionally, there should be a fridge with a heating function as well.

The pivotal innovation resides in Huawei’s intelligent driving solution being seamlessly integrated into its latest Qiankun ADS 3.0 model. The advanced electronic brake (AEB) features have been enhanced within the overall system. The ahead collision avoidance velocity range spans between 4 and 150 kilometers per hour, with supplementary support for both rear and side collision avoidance features. AEB technology enables vehicles to autonomously reverse at speeds up to 60 km/h. The system can detect and track various road users, including pedestrians, motorcycles, as well as vehicles moving in the opposite direction. When navigating hazardous road conditions with slippery highway surfaces, the advanced adaptive emergency braking system is capable of anticipating potential dangers and seamlessly applies gentle braking to ensure a safe stop. In extreme conditions, where the braking distance becomes alarmingly short, the advanced collision avoidance system is designed to automatically intervene, proactively sidestepping potential hazards by deftly maneuvering around them while simultaneously initiating a controlled braking process.

The Advanced Driver-Assistance System (ADS) 3.0 has significantly enhanced street and scene recognition capabilities, leveraging the power of cloud computing and real-world driving data from actual automobiles. By enabling the system to comprehend the current situation, it is able to make decisions more in line with those of a seasoned human driver. ADS 3.0 represents a significant advancement for the GOD community, leveraging the established foundation of both BEV and GOD communities developed in ADS 2.0 to introduce novel impediment detection capabilities. The advancements in self-driving technology are driven not just by security measures but also by overall expertise. Currently, there are 160 parking scenarios supported.

The EnDream’s advanced driver-assistance system is equipped with a sophisticated suite of 27 sensors, complemented by high-resolution cameras and millimetre-wave radar technology. The new-to-market Dreamer 192-Lidar unit is a cutting-edge innovation from Huawei, offering unparalleled precision and accuracy in its scanning capabilities.

As the highly anticipated 2025 Voyah Dreamer approaches its market debut, forthcoming details about this innovative vehicle are expected to become publicly available within the coming weeks.
