Jaguar has unveiled a brand-new premium “Black Pack” offering, alongside news that its I-PACE electric vehicles will now feature Alexa integration through the Pivi Professional infotainment system.
Following the over-the-air software update, I-Tempo drivers will gain instant access to Alexa’s familiar voice as it controls various Pivi Pro features. This system features seamless integration of navigation, high-quality media playback, reliable cellphone functionality, and a range of advanced devices. US and UK-based I-PACE drivers can remotely monitor and test their electric vehicle’s state anywhere, using Jaguar Remote Capability on any Alexa-enabled device. Jaguar provides demonstrations such as monitoring an I-PACE’s price tier or verifying whether the doors are secured or unlocked.
Over 55,000 Jaguar I-PACE owners have now received the over-the-air update enabling seamless integration with Amazon Alexa. While Alexa initially debuts on the I-PACE, future Jaguar models featuring Pivi Professional will also integrate Alexa seamlessly.
