Built by Moscow’s Timokhin Customized Design, this bespoke Thruxton was crafted specifically for an aviation professional with a passion for weekend racing. He required two distinct elements: something that would garner an understanding nod from those familiar with his profession, and another that might evoke tears streaming down the screen. With a clear theme and objective in mind, the team at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) set to work, unrolling vast expanses of aluminum sheeting.
Dubbed the “Quick Racer,” this bicycle features an aerodynamic front fairing inspired by the design of early jet intakes, cleverly concealing its LED headlights within the nosecone’s mesh-like grille. The sleek design features entrance indicators discreetly integrated into the mirror stems, maintaining an unobstructed front end, while a compact, circular taillight nestles within the rear’s central axis. The sleek aluminum bodywork boasts a striking combination of sweet pink and black hues, punctuated by subtle silver striping and gleaming white accents.
The bike features Brembo braking hardware on 17-inch rims, both at the front and rear. The engine was additionally enhanced with a Energy Commander, Ok&N filtration, and a customized set of quick bobber-style single pipe exhausts. According to TCD specifications, the motorcycle delivered a remarkable 70 ft-lbs of torque and 70 horsepower on the rear wheel during dyno testing.
