On July 8, 2024, SAIC-GM-Wuling’s Wuling Bingo EV officially debuted in Thailand, boasting a price range of 419,000 to 449,000 baht (approximately $11,500-$12,300 USD or 83,590-89,670 yuan), alongside a remarkable CLTC-rated cruising distance of 333 kilometers.

The Wuling Bingo EV, whose specifications can be found here, made its debut in Indonesia and Nepal in December 2023 before expanding to Thailand.

Thailand-based electric vehicle retailer EV Primus marked a significant milestone on July 1 by releasing the inaugural shipment of the Wuling Binguo EV to 41 dealerships across the country, paving the way for its much-anticipated debut.

The Wuling Bingo EV made its debut in China on June 14, featuring four trim options priced from 56,800 to 84,800 yuan, approximately $7,850 to $11,700.

The new automobile’s dimensions and design remain identical: 3950mm in length, 1708mm in width, and 1580mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2560mm; the only exception is the addition of Snow Mountain white as an exterior colour option for the 203km Gentle trim.

The two variants – one featuring a 333-kilometer range and the other a 410-kilometer range – boast upgraded water-cooled flat-wire electrical motors, delivering 50 kilowatts (67 horsepower) of energy while accelerating from 120 kilometers per hour to 130 kilometers per hour. The 203km range variant remains equipped with a 30kW (40hp) electric motor, capable of reaching a top speed of 100km/h. Meanwhile, the battery pack retains its capabilities: 17.3 kWh, 31.9 kWh, and 37.9 kWh, ensuring corresponding CLTC cruising ranges of 203 km, 333 km, and 410 km, respectively. The entire sequence enables DC-quick charging, allowing a recharge of the battery from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes.
