Suzuki’s affordable Boulevard C50 cruiser range expands in 2025 with two offerings: the entry-level C50 and the C50T Special, featuring a retro aesthetic and a tall windscreen designed to tackle long highway stretches. The new Ducati Desert Sled C50 starts at $9,299, while its top-of-the-line C50T Particular variant will be priced at $9,799.

The C50T Particular and its base-model sibling appear to have retained their mechanical configuration from previous editions, with the notable exception of the Particular, whose value has surprisingly decreased since our last preview of a 2022 model priced just above $10,000. In a market where prices consistently rise despite stagnant trends, one company stands out as a rare exception.

The motorcycles employ a robust 805cc single-overhead-camshaft V-twin powerplant, which utilizes Suzuki’s innovative Twin Throttle Valve Electronic Fuel Injection technology and an Automatic Quick Idle System for seamless performance and convenience. The innovative powertrain features a robust meshing system in tandem with a high-gear five-speed transmission, seamlessly integrated with a low-maintenance shaft drive transmission for enhanced efficiency and reliability. Each fork features a telescoping design with a 5.5-inch travel distance, while the link-type rear shock offers adjustable preloading across seven settings and a 4.1-inch stroke length. The vehicle features a hydraulic brake system at the front entrance, paired with a reliable drum braking mechanism on the rear axle. A sleek design is achieved through the integration of ahead-mount floorboards, which not only enhance the overall aesthetic but also contribute to a cockpit that exudes a sense of sophistication and refinement. The harmonious blend of cruiser styling, replete with abundant use of chrome, creates an undeniable allure that turns heads on the open road.

The standard C50 is expected to be offered in a Strong Iron Grey colour option, whereas the C50T Special edition will come with a sleek Pearl Sensible White finish.
