If you’re in the market for leasing an electric vehicle (EV), there’s a fantastic opportunity currently available on the 2024 VW ID.4, as Volkswagen has significantly reduced its lease pricing by nearly $100 per month.

According to CarsDirect, leveraging the latest incentives, the 2024 Volkswagen ID.4 Base and rear-wheel drive trim can now be leased for a starting price of just $299 – a value comparable to that of the Tesla Model Y Long-Range Rear-Wheel Drive?

By July 1, the 2024 Volkswagen ID.4 lease offer is priced at $299 per month for 36 months, requiring a $2,999 down payment upon signing. Priced at $39,735, the base model’s destination charge and 10,000 annual mileage assumption apply.

About a month ago, the ID.4’s pricing was $70 higher per month and included an additional $1,000 payment upon signing. The value of June’s lease has increased by 38%, resulting in substantial financial savings.

The latest price drop on the ID.4 has made its efficient pricing even more attractive, with a monthly cost of $382 in the US, a significant decrease from the previous $480.

At just $98 per month, the ID.4 takes the top spot in terms of best EV lease deals, making it an attractive option for those seeking affordable electric transportation. According to CarsDirect, Volkswagen increased lease prices in June for its Golf Alltrack model, with the normal and rear-wheel drive trims seeing a hike in monthly payments from $8,500 in May to $11,750 in June.

The ID.4’s pricing is mainly influenced by its trim level, with a starting point of $12,500 for the Professional S AWD variant.
