A lone, antiquated Honda CR-500 caught attention amidst a sea of Yamaha 175 two-strokes, their exhaust notes weaving through the damp Saturday grass as they carved out shortcuts and occasionally spun donuts. Unexpected situations turned everyone into motocross enthusiasts, except when you were stuck in a slow-moving golf cart. With the scent of burnt rubber wafting through the air, a surprising number of drivers gave in to their inner Ken Block, intentionally inducing drifts that sent passengers sliding sideways across the rough terrain. Until you make a living restoring golf carts, they’re innocent and enjoyable.
