For the 2024 calendar year, Michelin North America introduces its Energy GP2 high-performance streetbike tire, available for all 12 months. Designed to excel on both paved roads and circuits, the Michelin Energy GP2 is a high-performance tyre engineered for thrill-seeking motorcyclists who relish the rush of speed. The top 5 options for Michelin’s Energy GP2 streetbike tires are:

 1. The Energy GP’s successor has finally arrived. This tire is intended for use in both simulation and real-world settings, offering a seamless transition between virtual and actual driving experiences.
 2. The tyre consistently benefits from its dual-compound design, featuring distinct formulations for both the entry and exit zones. The shoulder of the tire has a brand new carbon black combination, whereas the middle has a revised silica formulation, suppose engineered sand, that offers you extra sturdiness and grip in moist climate.
 3. The tread zones of this tyre have undergone modifications, resulting in significantly reduced tread on the side that provides enhanced grip during leaned maneuvers.
 4. Michelin unveils a cutting-edge 160/60-17 rear tyre designed specifically for small-bike enthusiasts.
 5. Michelin has significantly enhanced nearly every aspect of this tyre, with the sole exception being its warm-up time. Significant enhancements have been made to dry grip, moist grip, sturdiness, and precision, resulting in improvements of up to 15%.

At a minimum, the recommended chill tire pressure for these tires is 30.5 pounds per square inch (psi) in the front and 27.5 psi in the rear.

We’ll catch up with you in the next installment.
