BYD launches pre-sales for Sealion 07 DM-i Intelligent Driving Version SUV starting at 26,300 USD

On April 18, 2025, BYD’s Ocean Community kicked off the pre-sale for its latest mid-to-large SUV model, the Sealion 07 DM-i Clever Driving Model. The vehicle is available in three trims, priced from $26,300 to $31,800, with a starting point of 189,800 yuan.

The Sealion 07 DM-i seamlessly embodies BYD’s Ocean Aesthetics design philosophy, harmoniously integrating undulating wave and water droplet elements to produce a visually striking yet understatedly technological appearance. Here is the rewritten text:

Measuring 4,880 millimeters in length, 1,920 millimeters in width, and 1,750 millimeters in height, this automobile features a generous five-seat configuration with a wheelbase of 2,820 millimeters, offering ample space for passengers.

Within the Ocean Cockpit concept, a central console and instrument panel float effortlessly, accompanied by sleek, iceberg-inspired control buttons that harmoniously blend luxury and technical expertise.

The innovative feature that sets this technology apart is its pioneering capacity to elevate and retract a drone touchdown pad, facilitating seamless collaboration between aerial vehicles and automobiles. The system enables seamless takeoff and landing, precise touchdowns, and intelligent charging capabilities. The drone is controlled by a single key and offers features including follow-me filming, simultaneous aerial and ground-level photography, and rapid recharging capabilities.

Equipped with the innovative DiPilot clever driving assistance technology. The 150 Sensible Navigation and 150 Sensible Navigation+ designs feature the DiPilot 100 (God’s Eye C) three-camera system, whereas the 135 High-Efficiency Intelligent Driving model incorporates the DiPilot 300 (God’s Eye B) laser-based system with advanced capabilities such as traffic light recognition and autonomous lane changing.

Built on BYD’s latest plug-in hybrid platform, leveraging fifth-generation Drive Master technology, this vehicle offers both two-wheel and four-wheel drive modes for added versatility and capability. Featuring impressive fuel efficiency, this model achieves a remarkable combined cycle consumption of just 4.7 litres per 100 kilometres when the battery has been fully depleted. The maximum range achievable with a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery is approximately 1,320 kilometres.

The Disus-C clever physique management system is ubiquitous across various fashion trends. The system dynamically modulates suspension firmness to harmonize comfort and handling performance, responding seamlessly to various road conditions.

The Sealion 07 DM-i offers a range of comfort-enhancing features, including a dual-temperature fridge, ventilated and heated seats for both front and rear occupants, a massage function for the front seats, as well as an electric legrest to further boost passenger convenience.

The BYD’s advanced safety features comprise a robust physical structure, the innovative Blade Battery, ten airbags as standard, and an array of driving assistance technologies, including intelligent peripheral brake systems, driver monitoring, and 360-degree high-definition all-around imaging capabilities.
