Newly leaked spy shots reveal a detailed glimpse of the upcoming Geely-designed Avator 06’s interior design and features. As expected, the car’s interior bears a resemblance to that found in the Avatr 07 SUV. The Avatar 06 is expected to hit the market in the second quarter of 2025, with a starting price tag of approximately 250,000 yuan (equivalent to $34,100 USD). Both the all-electric and extended-range electric vehicle options will be available for customers to choose from.
According to the spy photographs, the Avatar 06 features a prominent, centrally located floating leisure module. This display is likely to measure around 15.6 inches, having been installed on a 2007 model.
The 2026 model is also notable for its sleek, through-screen design situated discreetly behind the dashboard. The cargo area within the 2007 Saturn Vue SUV measures approximately 35.4 inches tall, with no discernible changes from its 2006 counterpart. The steering wheel has been seamlessly integrated into the new design.
For versions equipped with cameras providing aspect views instead of mirrors, there may also be two compact screens showing the images. The vehicle eschews traditional rear windshields in favor of a streaming real-time view from a rear-view mirror.
The mid-console also features a symmetrical arrangement of twin Wi-Fi-enabled mobile device charging stations and twin beverage containers.
The vehicle’s exterior design features prominent daytime running lights that are easily visible while in operation during daylight hours. With its substantial measurements of 4,855mm in length, 1,960mm in width, and 1,450 (1,467)mm in height, the sedan boasts a considerable presence on the road, supported by a wheelbase of 2,940mm.
The 2006 model shares the same powertrain options as its 2007 SUV counterpart. The all-electric Avatr 06 is equipped with a 252 kW rear-axle electric motor, while the dual-motor variant adds an additional 188 kW motor to its front axle.
The EREV model is propelled by a 231 kW electric motor in collaboration with a 1.5-tonne internal combustion engine that supplies an additional 115 kW of power through its range-extending capability. Equipped with a robust 31.7 kWh battery pack, this vehicle boasts an impressive all-electric range of approximately 170 kilometres.
The all-electric model arrives equipped with a 72.88-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack. The single-motor variant offers a range of approximately 650 km, as measured by the China Light-Duty Cars Test Cycle (CLTC), while its dual-motor counterpart provides a range of around 600 km using the same measurement standard.
