As of recently, the Xiaomi SU7 sedan has achieved a notable milestone, with over 130,000 units delivered to customers in mainland China. Xiaomi successfully shipped more than 30,000 units of its SU7 model starting from November 13.

The Xiaomi SU7 is a mid-range to high-end electric sedan introduced in China on March 28, boasting a price range of 215,900-229,900 yuan ($29,600-$31,500 USD). Following its launch, this car caused a sensation by securing 50,000 bookings within just 27 minutes. Despite initial production issues, the car garnered significant interest from Chinese consumers. Xiaomi has significantly ramped up production of its SU7 smartphone multiple times across various Chinese manufacturing facilities. By achieving a milestone of 130,000 vehicles supplied to the market on December 28, the fledgling car manufacturer made significant strides in its growth trajectory.

After a painstaking nine-month effort, Xiaomi finally completed its revised annual target in exactly 275 days. Will we revisit Xiaomi’s initial goal of producing 100,000 vehicles by 2024? Sales of this automobile surged significantly following a production increase that enabled the manufacture of up to 20,000 units monthly in June.

In the initial month following the start of retail sales, Xiaomi successfully handed over 10,000 vehicles to delighted customers. In a remarkable move, the company acquired an additional 90,000 vehicles over a period of 198 days, culminating on November 13. In conclusion, the company dispatched an additional 30,000 vehicles within a 45-day timeframe, resulting in a total of 130,000 units in stock. According to China’s EV DataTracker, Xiaomi reported a significant milestone in December, selling an impressive 16,328 electric vehicle (EV) models. The exceptional consequences of the automobile’s launch in late Q1 this year are truly impressive.

Xiaomi commemorates a milestone as it marks one year since the inaugural unveiling of its SU7 electric vehicle on December 28, 2023. Next year, Xiaomi plans to launch its second-phase automotive plant, significantly increasing production capacity. This new strategy will enable the automaker to boost its overall sales figures significantly. Xiaomi’s upcoming product lineup includes not one but two exciting new releases scheduled for 2025. The primary model is a three-motor SUV, specifically a sedan variant. The second is a Xiaomi Yu7 crossover, a sleek and modern smartphone that seamlessly blends style with functionality. The updated algorithm will significantly boost the company’s residential property sales figures.
