Although Hyundai has scalloped the edges of the headliner for outboard passengers, the centre seat remains less fortunate in this regard. At 5 feet 10 inches tall, I had barely more than 1 inch of clearance above the top of the outboard seats. The elevated heart-shaped console in the middle of the car caught me off guard, forcing me to duck to avoid banging my head on the roof lining.
