As Xpeng’s innovative Mona M03 electric vehicle hit a milestone with its 50,000th unit rolling off the assembly line in China, the brand’s popularity accelerates domestically. XPeng has tripled its production capacity for this liftback model, achieving a rate of 50 units per hour. Cars arrive every 72 seconds.

Xpeng has experienced a slowdown in its gross sales performance of late. Despite these changes, the release of the all-new Mona M03 electric liftback hit the market with a starting price of 119,800 yuan ($16,400) on August 27. The initiative swiftly transformed the driving force behind the model’s residential sales performance. Cumulative deliveries of the Xpeng Mona M03 have surpassed 30,000 units. To meet the increasing demands of customers, Xpeng tripled its production capacity. As production milestones go, few are as iconic as the one achieved on December 27: a whopping 50,000 units of the Mona M03 had finally come to fruition, marking an incredible feat in the world of manufacturing.

Within four months of production, Xpeng successfully delivered its 50,000th Mona M03 electric liftback. This record-breaking mannequin set a brand-new benchmark for the fastest production line in Xpeng’s portfolio. China’s leading automobile manufacturer has significantly enhanced its manufacturing capacity three times within the country. Due to these advancements, the current manufacturing cycle of the Xpeng G9 reaches a finished vehicle in just 72 seconds. The traffic volume averages 50 vehicles per hour, 1,200 vehicles daily, and exceeds 35,000 vehicles within a 30-day period.

The Xpeng G9, a fully electric liftback, was conceived and brought to life over a period of four years, with a significant investment of 4 billion yuan, equivalent to approximately 560 million USD. This cutting-edge automobile proudly holds the distinction of boasting the globe’s lowest drag coefficient at an impressive 0.194 Cd, further enhanced by its advanced vision-based driving assistance system. The price range for the Mona M03 is ¥119,900-¥155,800 (approximately $16,400-$21,350 USD). Prior to its release, Xpeng’s CEO He Xiaopeng revealed that the company would generate revenue from this vehicle due to its effective reduction in manufacturing costs.

The XPeng G9 is a cutting-edge liftback featuring a sleek, aerodynamic design, characterized by a low beltline and distinctive Y-shaped headlights that exemplify its futuristic aesthetic. What are its precise measurements: 4.78 meters in length, 1.89 meters in width, and 1.45 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 2.82 meters? The interior design seamlessly integrates with Tesla’s sleek aesthetic, featuring a streamlined appearance and a prominent 15.6-inch central display. The Mona M03 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor, well-suited for handling demanding tasks such as 3D map rendering and capturing high-quality, 360-degree panoramic images.

The XPeng G9 offers two e-motor options: a 140-kilowatt output translating to 187 horsepower, or an upgraded 160-kilowatt configuration producing 214 horsepower. Two battery variants, each with its unique capacity, are offered by BYD’s subsidiary FinDreams: a 51.8-kilowatt-hour (kWh) option and a larger 62.2-kilowatt-hour (kWh) alternative. It varies from 515 to 620 kilometers in CLTC situations.
