To make electric vehicles accessible to a wider audience, Hyundai aims to simplify the driving experience. Starting immediately, all current and new Hyundai EV owners will have access to a complimentary NACS adapter, enabling them to charge their vehicles at over 20,000 Tesla Supercharger stations worldwide. Here’s the best way to get yours.

Are you a Hyundai EV driver looking to unlock the full charging potential of your vehicle? If so, this is for you! As part of Hyundai’s commitment to providing an exceptional ownership experience, they are offering eligible drivers a complimentary NACS (Normal AC Supply) adapter.

Starting in the first quarter of 2025, customers who buy or lease a brand-new Hyundai electric vehicle (EV) will have the option to request a complimentary NACS charging adapter, along with shipping. Instant access to this feature can be obtained through the convenient MyHyundai owner’s portal.

Hyundai is providing complimentary adapters to homeowners of model-year 2024 and prior Hyundai Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, Kona Electric, and Ioniq Hatchback models. The upgraded 2025 IONIQ 5, 6, and Kona Electric models are also eligible for this promotion.

“To accelerate electric vehicle uptake, we started by engaging with our existing homeowners,” said Olabisi Boyle, Hyundai Motor North America’s senior vice president of mobility technology, on Monday.

As part of its endeavour to ensure a hassle-free shift to electric, Hyundai aims to make the transition as seamless as possible. Meanwhile, the company has announced that its premium Genesis brand will also be part of this strategy, with details set to be revealed on Monday. Additional details, guidelines, and clauses may be added momentarily.

This innovative technology allows for instant torque distribution between the front and rear axles, ensuring optimal power delivery and enhanced stability on various road surfaces. By restricting one motor’s output when the other is fully utilized, the system efficiently manages energy consumption while maintaining a smooth driving experience. The result is improved handling and reduced wheel spin in inclement weather conditions, making the IONIQ 5 AWD an excellent choice for those seeking adventure and excitement behind the wheel? 320-horsepower twin motor 269 $58,100
The starting MSRP for the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 varies depending on the trim level, with a destination fee of $1,475 included.

Following its most successful U.S. sales month in November, Hyundai’s momentum continues to build as IONIQ 5 sales more than doubled, driving the brand’s overall performance forward. As Hyundai unveils its latest innovations – including the enhanced mannequin and the highly anticipated IONIQ 9 – the company is well-positioned for a significant surge in demand in the coming year, with 2025 shaping up to be a pivotal moment in its ongoing growth trajectory. As the US market transitions to electric vehicles, Hyundai’s reputation is poised for significant scrutiny?
