Hyundai’s latest IONIQ 5 electric SUV boasts a futuristic design that appears to be pulled straight from the future, but the premium Calligraphy trim sets itself apart from the other options. The flagship mannequins boast cutting-edge technology, premium features, and sleek, trim-specific styling elements that elevate the overall presentation. In California, an all-new black mannequin was spotted on the streets, providing a unique glimpse into the high-end trim of this luxury vehicle.

Hyundai’s sleek Ioniq 5 Calligraphy variant turns heads with its all-black makeover.

Here is the rewritten text: The Ioniq 5 is Hyundai’s inaugural three-row electric SUV, effectively redefining the concept of “lounge on wheels”. Last November, Hyundai showcased its largest-ever electric SUV at the LA Auto Show.

Hyundai’s latest “Aerosthetic” design philosophy brings a bold new look to its lineup, making it easy to overlook the IONIQ 5’s striking and innovative exterior design. The aerodynamic roofline and seamless exterior styling seamlessly translate into an airy, lounge-inspired interior. It incorporates advanced features, including parametric pixels seamlessly integrated into the entrance’s LED lights and bumper.

The Ioniq 5 will be available in five trim levels: S, SE, SEL, Limited, and the flagship Calligraphy trim option. Hyundai has officially confirmed that the top-of-the-line model will feature a one-of-a-kind Calligraphy Design package, complete with distinctive 21-inch wheels.

The Calligraphy model now offers an array of distinctive trim-specific features, including a luxurious microfiber suede roof trim, a high-quality premium cargo sill plate, a dual-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, a state-of-the-art 10-inch Head-Up Display (HUD), and a cutting-edge full-display mirror with HomeLink integration.

Although Hyundai showcased its flagship SUV publicly, a new video reveals a pre-production Ioniq 5 Calligraphy in an all-black camouflage undergoing testing in the US.

An Ioniq 5 prototype was spotted testing publicly ahead of its impending release. A sleek XRT trim with impressive off-road upgrades has been spotted in Korea, providing a glimpse of what’s in store for the brand’s latest offering.

The Hyundai IONIQ 9 measures 199.2 inches in length, 78 inches in width, and 70.5 inches in height, making it only slightly smaller than the Rivian R1S, which boasts dimensions of 201 inches in length, 82 inches in width, and 77 inches in height. The electric SUV measures around the same size as Kia’s spacious EV9 model.

The Hyundai electric SUV, boasting a substantial 110.3 kWh battery pack, boasts an EPA-estimated range of 335 miles (620 km) on the WLTP cycle, offering impressive driving capabilities.

Hyundai will introduce its first-ever three-row electric SUV to the US and Korean markets in the first half of 2025. Upon further expansion, the product can easily scale to international markets including Europe. The facility will co-locate with the cutting-edge 2025 IONIQ 5 production line at Hyundai’s newly established factory in Georgia, scheduled for completion by 2025. The exact cost details will be disclosed closer to the product’s release date.
