BYD’s initial investment in Ubtech Robotics has yielded a strategic partnership, with Ubtech’s advanced Walker S1 industrial humanoid robot now being deployed across BYD’s manufacturing facilities. At a height of 1.72 meters and weighing 76 kilograms, the Walker S1 robot is designed to operate efficiently in tandem with autonomous logistics vehicles and intelligent systems, its payload capacity standing at 15 kilograms. Marking a pivotal milestone in robotics, this collaboration successfully integrates humanoid robots with autonomous logistics vehicles, thereby facilitating the seamless transition towards massive, unmanned endeavors.
Ubtech, a leading humanoid robotics company, has forged partnerships with prominent automakers such as Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, Geely, FAW Hongqi, and Audi FAW, showcasing its Walker S series as the most extensively trained humanoid robots in automobile factories, securing over 500 pre-orders.
