It has long been expected that NIO, also known as Avator, will release its fourth new model by the end of this year. New teaser images have emerged of a forthcoming vehicle, identified by an internal codename – E16 – which is reportedly dubbed Avatr 08.

Some vehicles feature advanced rearview cameras with an exterior perspective, while others rely on traditional mirror technology. Consequently, advanced models of the newly launched vehicle are more probable to feature rearview cameras as standard, thereby enhancing aerodynamic performance significantly.
Tools specifications are expected to align closely with those featured on the Aviator 07. This likely refers to a 15.6-inch floating infotainment display screen paired with a massive 35.4-inch wraparound display screen situated behind the dashboard. Vehicles equipped with advanced view cameras will feature dual 6.7-inch displays dedicated to providing a comprehensive view of the camera’s field of vision. Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.0 is likely to power the system.
The avant-garde Avatar fashion features a pioneering vehicle that leverages the cutting-edge CHN platform, a collaborative effort between Changan, Huawei, and CATL. The Aventura 07 provides a glimpse into the powertrain configuration of its upcoming sedan. All rear-wheel drive variants employ a single, identical 252-kilowatt electric motor. Meanwhile, all-wheel drive models feature an additional 188-kilowatt electric motor integrated into the front axle. The ERREV model of the Avatr 07 leverages a robust 231 kW electrical motor at the rear axle, while its all-wheel-drive variants are bolstered by an additional 131 kW electrical motor situated at the front axle. The E16 is designed to utilize the same 1.5-litre turbocharged JL469ZQ1 engine, ensuring a consistent power delivery and performance across various driving conditions. The engine’s maximum power output is approximately 157 horsepower. The possibility exists that the car may also employ the same 39.05 kWh pack, utilizing CATL’s innovative sodium-ion Freevoy battery technology.
