The all-new, luxurious three-row electric SUV from GM is poised to make a global debut. Following the launch of its innovative Vistiq electric SUV, Cadillac continues to redefine the standard for American luxury. Here’s our initial review of the “mini Escalade,” featuring pricing and specifications.

“With the introduction of VISTIQ, Cadillac will become one of only a few luxury automakers to offer an electric vehicle entry point in every high-end SUV segment,” said John Roth, VP of Cadillac Worldwide, on Tuesday.

The Cadillac Vizio is a midsize, three-row electric SUV positioned between the Lyriq and the larger Escalade IQ. A “mini Escalade,” if you’ll. The XT5, a mid-size SUV, embodies Cadillac’s sleek, modern design philosophy, reminiscent of its larger counterpart, the Escalade IQ.

At first glance, a striking illuminated pinstripe grille on the front of the vehicle announces its electric credentials to the world. The Vistiq further enhances the luxury model’s distinctive vertical headlights and taillights, with higher-end trims featuring a premium Black Crystal Shield.

Within the Vistiq, “engineering ensures ample space for passengers across all three rows.” Moreover, it comes equipped with cutting-edge technology and features, including a prominent 33-inch LED infotainment display.

Passengers in the third row can also enjoy plush armrests, as well as convenient features like cup holders, storage space for their mobile devices, and easily accessible USB charging ports.

Powered by a 102 kWh battery pack, Cadillac anticipates that the all-electric SUV will deliver an estimated range of over 300 miles on a single charge. The all-new Ford Bronco Sport’s twin-turbocharged EcoBoost engine churns out an impressive 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in a blistering 3.7 seconds when equipped with the Velocity Max feature.

The advanced all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, complemented by the innovative Street Noise Cancellation technology, yields a remarkably peaceful driving experience.

The Vistiq measures 205.6 inches in length, 79.7 inches wide, and 71 inches tall, boasting a wheelbase of 121.8 inches – only slightly longer than the Rivian R1S at 201 inches in overall size. Despite its relatively modest height of just 77 inches at its peak, the Nontheless is still a compact vehicle.

Cadillac plans to launch its Viziq model on a global scale, encompassing both domestic and international markets, including the United States and Canada. Manufacturing of the new vehicle model is scheduled to commence in early 2025 at General Motors’ (GM) Spring Hill, Tennessee-based manufacturing facility.

Cadillac’s newest three-row electric SUV is set to debut at a starting price of $78,790, inclusive of destination charges. Following the Vistiq would be its behemoth sibling, the Escalade IQ. Stay tuned for further updates as we count down to the launch date.
