A prototype of the Zeekr 007 station wagon has been spotted in China, its public debut seemingly brought forward from its originally planned 2025 launch date. The Nio ET5 Touring’s upcoming rival, codenamed CC1E, is set to undergo the SEA structure and integrate an 800V high-voltage system.
The Zeekr is a Geely-backed model launched in 2021. Our current lineup comprises six models: the 001 liftback, the X and 7X crossover variants, the 009 and Combine minivans, as well as the 007 sedan. By June 2024, Deutsche Bank revealed the upcoming model lineup from Zeekr. Within the subsequent two-year period, we will launch five additional high-end NEV models in China. One of the notable models in this lineup is the Zeekr 007 station wagon, designated as CC1E. It was noticed in China.

A NIO Zeekr 007 prototype was spotted being transported on a flatbed truck. It’s lined in heavy camouflage. Despite these differences, we can easily differentiate this prototype from a custom-designed glass collection. The CC1E features 19-inch, sleek and minimalist four-spoke rims paired with high-grip 245/45 Michelin tires for exceptional handling and traction on the road. The Zeekr 007 station wagon boasts a sleek, sloping roofline and angular D-pillars that create a dynamic silhouette. An additional feature is two slender taillight strips integrated into the rear fascia.
Sugar Design, a Chinese language design firm, has released unofficial renderings of the Zeekr 007 station wagon, built upon leaked spy shots. While it maintains a sporty appearance, a bold contrast-colored roof and substantial rear spoiler give it a notable flair.
The CC1E’s entrance finish seamlessly aligns with Zeekr’s latest Hidden Vitality design language, as crafted by renowned designer Stefan Sielaff.
There are no publicly available specifications about the Zeekr 007 station wagon’s features and capabilities. Despite these differences, its dimensions should align with those of the 007 sedan (as per specifications). The vehicle’s dimensions are impressive: measuring 4,880mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,488mm in height, with a substantial wheelbase of 2,928mm. The CC1E is likely to offer two powertrain options: a rear-wheel-drive variant producing 310 kW (415 horsepower), and an all-wheel-drive option delivering 475 kW (636 horsepower). The vehicle will offer an option to choose between a 75-kilowatt lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and a 100-kilowatt ternary nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) pack.
Zeekr’s latest innovation – the Zeekr 007 station wagon – is set to make waves in both China and international markets.
The exact date of the Zeekr 007 station wagon’s launch remains undisclosed for now. Despite this, the automobile has begun conducting highway checks nonetheless. The CC1E is expected to enter China by early 2025, marking a significant milestone for both parties involved. The pre-production prototype is likely to make its public appearance early next year.
Luxury station wagons have become increasingly popular in China. The Zeekr 001 established this trend in 2021. Following its debut of the ES6 SUV and EC6 coupe, NIO unveiled the ET5 Touring, a stylish and practical wagon. Later that year, Neta and BYD’s Denza subsidiary also entered the market with their own offerings in this segment. Notwithstanding the existing factors, another compelling argument exists for Zeekr to develop a station wagon variant. This physique type is widespread in Europe. To further strengthen Zeekr’s presence and market share in European markets, the company will need to expand its sales volume beyond its current levels to gain a more competitive edge.
Meanwhile, Geely’s Zeekr electric vehicle brand has achieved profitability in its home market of China. By October 2024, the company had provided a total of 25,049 vehicles. Cumulative gross sales for the first 10 months of 2024 have surpassed 167,922 units, a significant milestone in our revenue growth strategy. Zeekr has successfully reached 73% of its projected gross sales target within the past 12-month period.
