The most affordable electric vehicle in the US with a range of over 315 miles is now available. General Motors has officially made available for ordering its highly anticipated Chevrolet Equinox Electric LT, priced at $35,000.
Following the initial delivery of Equinox EVs in May, General Motors announced that the more affordable LT trim was slated for release. The all-new electric vehicle is now officially available for purchase at dealerships across the United States.
Priced from a competitive $34,995, the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV LT boasts an estimated EPA range of up to 319 miles on its front-wheel-drive configuration. While standing out from its competitors is a significant advantage, this SUV also boasts an expansive 17.7-inch infotainment screen.
General Motors now offers the LT and RS trim levels for the Equinox, both of which can be paired with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) powertrains.
The 2025 RS FWD variant starts at a base price of $45,790. The vehicle’s range variability can reach up to 319 miles. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) bottom trim level starts at $40,295, offering an estimated fuel economy of 307 miles per gallon, as reported by the Environmental Protection Agency. The Chevrolet RS AWD starts at $49,090, featuring GM’s Lively Security Bundle 2, an AutoSense energy-powered liftgate, sport-inspired design enhancements, and additional amenities.
The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV starts with prices below $35,000.
The Equinox EV also qualifies for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit, making its starting price as low as $27,495.
Beneath $28,000 lies a remarkable value for an all-electric SUV that boasts nearly 320 miles of range on a single charge. The all-new 2024 Toyota RAV4, the top-selling SUV in the US market for the past year, now comes with a higher price tag, starting at approximately $30,000.
More than 15,000 Equinox EV models were made available to customers during the brand’s first full sales quarter in Q3. As the lower-priced model becomes available, General Motors anticipates its electric SUV will rival top performers in the market.
