Its futuristic essence makes it a real showstopper for anyone with an appreciation for cutting-edge technology. Nissan has released another sneak peek at its latest concept, with a promise to reveal the physical version in Japan next week.
Nissan presents the Hyper Tourer as a minivan designed for individuals who value refinement and are likely to appreciate the company of friends and colleagues on both leisurely and business excursions. The concept embodies Japan’s spirit of omotenashi, or “Japanese hospitality,” aiming to create a comfortable travel experience through features such as autonomous capabilities, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) performance, and a high-capacity battery pack for seamless journeys.
Within, the interior’s overhead console and ambient lighting subtly incorporate traditional Japanese patterns, contrasting with flat LED displays on the floor that simulate a serene riverbed and expansive sky above. Nissan provides a detailed breakdown of various features available within the electric vehicle’s interior.
The seats at the entrance can rotate a full 360 degrees, enabling both front- and rear-seat occupants to engage in face-to-face conversations. Passengers in rear seats can enjoy seamless integration with the front-seat infotainment system, thanks to a wearable display that mirrors navigation and audio functionality, fostering a sense of harmony among all onboard. Furthermore, a cutting-edge AI system can continuously track and analyze various biometric markers – including brain activity, heart rate, breathing patterns, and skin conductivity – allowing it to intuitively select and play soothing music that harmonizes with your emotional state, while simultaneously adjusting the ambient lighting to create an immersive and calming environment.
Starting October 25, the Hyper Tourer will make its debut in Japan, joining forces with the other two “Hyper” concept models from Nissan mentioned earlier. The three fashion collections will potentially be showcased in a captivating music video, which is slated to premiere on the 25th.
