The 2025 Toyota Sequoia, a full-size SUV, undergoes subtle refinements while maintaining its reputation for.

For the 2025 model year, the Sequoia introduces optional massaging front seats, a fresh Mudbath color option for the TRD Professional off-road trim, an available wireless trailer camera system, and a new 1794 grade featuring Western-inspired decor that crowns the top of the lineup.

2025 Toyota Sequoia

All costs include a $1,945 destination fee for the base Sequoia SR5 model with rear-wheel drive. The Restricted grade is positioned just above the SR5, with a price tag of $70,520. The 4-wheel-drive system is an additional $3,000 option available on the SR5 and Restricted trim levels, but it comes standard on higher-grade models. Here are the top-tier trim levels of the truck series: priced from $81,265 for the Platinum grade, with the TRD Professional starting at $81,990, the 1794 edition at $82,080, and culminating in the luxurious Capstone model at $85,610.

The entire Sequentia range shares a platform with the Toyota Tundra pickup truck. A 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission featuring an electric motor integrated into its bellhousing. This setup is perfectly suited to harness 583 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a maximum towing capacity of 9,250 pounds.

2025 Toyota Sequoia

The EPA-estimated fuel economy rankings for the 2025 Toyota Sequoia are: 21 miles per gallon in city driving, 24 miles per gallon on the highway, for rear-wheel drive models; and 20 miles per gallon combined (19 mpg city, 22 mpg highway) for four-wheel drive models.

While Toyota initially provided them, the Sequoia remains the sole hybrid full-size SUV available in the U.S. market. right this moment. As the landscape evolves rapidly, Stellantis is poised to introduce extended-range plug-in hybrid options for the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer within the next 12 months. Ford’s renewed focus on hybrids could also lead to a hybrid variant of the Expedition, possibly leveraging the powertrain technology developed for the existing F-150 Hybrid pickup.
