On September 26, Dongfeng’s sub-brand Forthing unveiled its latest offering, the Xinghai S7, a cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) sedan-hatchback hybrid. Despite its larger size compared to the XPeng G3, Dongfeng’s claims suggest it views the Xpeng G3 as a competitor, with the smaller SUV likely seen as a key rival in the market. Three routes offer different travel experiences, each spanning an impressive 555 kilometers in length. Priced from 119,800 to a maximum of 139,800 yuan (approximately $17,100 to $19,950 USD). These costs bear striking similarities to those of the Xpeng G9 (formerly known as the Mona M03).
