Denza N9 flagship SUV spotted testing with slogans

As the Denza N9 SUV approaches its highly anticipated launch at year’s end, it’s gradually losing its disguise. Turpan’s arid landscape serves as the backdrop for the latest images capturing the automotive industry’s rigorous testing process under scorching climatic conditions, with the vehicles prominently featuring minimal branding and logos.

Initially, these statements seem like nonsensical phrases, evoking comparisons to the cryptic “Sizzling soy milk in the morning, ice cola at night” – yet each appears to contain a hidden clue about the vehicle’s specifications.

With BYD having taken full ownership of the Denza brand by acquiring Mercedes-Benz’s remaining 10% stake, the new flagship SUV model will spearhead this premium lineup.

The primary method involves aligning your vehicle with the available space, ensuring that the nose of your car is pointing towards the entrance of the parking lot, and then using your vehicle’s momentum to steer it backwards into the remaining parallel spaces.

Given the statement implies something is longer than a specific measurement, it’s reasonable to infer that its actual length exceeds 5.3 meters. The automaker is thought to have drawn inspiration from both the Li L9 and the Aito M9 when designing this vehicle. The Denza, a joint venture between BYD and Daimler AG, has already surpassed 500,000 units sold globally, prompting BYD to likely leverage this success in its own marketing efforts.

When scrutinizing the soy milk cola comment, it reveals the possibility that the N9 may boast an innovative thermal management system featuring adjustable heating and cooling functions, potentially addressing concerns about performance and usability in various environmental conditions. Two screens on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will mirror each other, allowing for a seamless multi-tasking experience.

Based on spy photos released so far, the interior is expected to closely resemble that of the Z9 GT. The new gaming console will feature a three-screen design and a sleek, crystal-inspired drive selector knob. The automobile could feature a versatile 2+2+3 seating configuration, boasting adjustable and unbiased seats in the second row.

The powertrain of the N9 is expected to closely mirror that of the Z9 GT, with options for both fully electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) configurations. The all-electric Z9 GT boasts an impressive 230 kW front motor and two rear electric motors, each delivering a peak power of 240 kW, resulting in a combined output of 710 kW. The Denza Z9 GT’s plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variant will feature a BYD479ZQA 2.0-liter turbocharged internal combustion engine, in conjunction with three synchronous electric motors. The majority of the engine’s power output is 152 kW, with the entry motor contributing 200 kW, while each of the two rear motors produces a combined 440 kW. The N9 likely uses the same highly effective motors as its predecessors, given their proven track record.
