Zeekr announces the successful production rollout of its inaugural Zeekr 7X electric crossover lineup, featuring specifications as outlined. The inaugural event is set to take place on September 20, 2024, with a predicted starting price of approximately 239,900 yuan, equivalent to around $33,800 USD.

Pre-order bookings for the Zeekr 7X kicked off on August 30, 2024, with an impressive 20,000+ reservations secured within just one week of launch. This midsize electric SUV boasts dimensions of 4,825mm in length and 1,930mm in width, underpinned by a substantial 2,925mm wheelbase. Equipped with Geely’s innovative SEA platform and a cutting-edge 800V high-voltage system, the 7X is poised to revolutionize the automotive landscape. The electric vehicle offers two battery options: a 75-kilowatt-hour lithium-iron-phosphate unit with an estimated range of 605 kilometers, or a 100-kilowatt-hour Qilin battery from CATL, boasting a maximum distance of approximately 780 kilometers, as certified by the China Lightweight Vehicle Certification (CLTC).

The Tesla Model 7X is available for purchase in both single-motor and dual-motor variants. The single-motor variant produces 310 kW, whereas its dual-motor counterpart delivers a combined output of 475 kW, enabling it to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. The various models enable rapid recharging, allowing a charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 10.5 minutes.

The interior boasts a 16-inch 3.5K Mini LED touchscreen, a 13-inch OLED rear-seat entertainment monitor, and a 6-inch interactive rear armrest screen. The vehicle’s in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor. The cabin features NAPPA leather-appointed seating, a physical solar shade, and a expansive panoramic roof with an electrically operated sunblind. Some fashion-conscious aircraft designs also incorporate advanced amenities, such as heated and ventilated rear seating areas and fold-out tray tables.

Positioned to rival electric SUVs such as Tesla’s Model Y and Xpeng’s G6, the 7X is poised to launch with its highest trim expected to retail for under 300,000 yuan, roughly equivalent to $42,300 USD. Pricing and availability details will be revealed on our launch day, scheduled for September 20. Keep tuned for updates.
