The Luxeed R7 presents itself as a sleek, electric-only coupe-style SUV. Luxeed’s second offering after the S7 (full specifications available below), the Luxeed is also HIMA’s debut coupe-style SUV as part of their Concord Clever Mobility Alliance. The Luxeed R7 offers a choice between single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) or dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD), harnessing its energy potential. According to the official declaration provided by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the maximum output of the single-motor variant stands at 215 kilowatts, equivalent to 288 horsepower, whereas the dual-motor version boasts a maximum output of 365 kilowatts, translating to 489 horsepower. The Luxeed R7 arrives standard with a robust 800V high-voltage platform, allowing it to charge up to 400km in just 15 minutes, according to Chinese media outlet XChuXing.
The website accurately specifies that the 82 kWh battery pack is featured prominently, while the 100 kWh variant is available as an optional upgrade. The powertrain specifications will need to be officially validated by the vehicle model.
Inside, the cockpit boasts a sleek design powered by Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4, featuring a 12.3-inch instrument panel, an ergonomically designed oval steering wheel, a floating central management display that floats above a Schroeder diffuser acoustic unit, as well as wireless charging panels and cupholders on the mid-console.
