The Hyundai Ioniq 6 may become the automaker’s second dedicated electric vehicle to receive an “N” performance treatment. Hyundai unveiled the IONIQ 5 N model in South Korea last September, followed by its North American premiere a month later, showcasing the electric vehicle’s impressive efficiency capabilities.

Hyundai’s latest iteration of its IONIQ 6 electric vehicle has been spotted undergoing public testing. The exterior makeover showcases a refined entrance, boasting significantly enhanced finishes and a revamped bumper design, accompanied by sleekly reworked headlight clusters.

The upcoming IONIQ 6 facelift is expected to mirror the significant updates seen in its sibling, the IONIQ 5. South Korean automaker Hyundai has unveiled the refreshed IONIQ 5 in its home market, boasting upgraded specifications including a larger battery pack and faster recharge times.

The refreshed Hyundai IONIQ 5 is expected to boast a range of up to 301 miles (485 km) on a single charge, according to Korean estimates, a 16-mile (26-kilometer) increase over the previous model’s maximum driving distance of 285 miles (459 km).

Hyundai is expected to debut a facelifted version of its IONIQ 6 model in late May. The N-branded mannequin will come into compliance by September 2025.
