As summer arrives, temperatures are soaring, but so too are the anticipation and excitement for this popular season. Electric vehicle prices continue their downward trend. Ford introduces a summer savings bonanza for customers, launching its Summer Sales Event on July 9, 2024. Ford is now offering a range of incentives on its electric vehicles (EVs), including the popular Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning models, as part of its summer promotion.

The automaker’s latest attempts to electrify the market have garnered significant attention. To make their eco-friendly offerings even more alluring, Ford has rolled out a series of summer deals for its Mach-E and F-150 Lightning models. As part of this promotional push, customers can now enjoy exclusive incentives on these cutting-edge electric vehicles.

Following a successful Q2 that saw over 24,000 electric vehicles promoted, Ford solidified its position as the second-largest selling EV brand in the US market. Ford outpaced GM in electric vehicle (EV) sales, with a 61% surge in gross sales.

In the first half of 2024, Ford lags behind Tesla in the US market, with approximately 44,180 electric vehicles sold. The Ford Mustang Mach-E achieved a record-breaking first half, with more than 22,200 units sold worldwide.

As Ford’s F-150 Lightning dominated the electric pickup truck landscape, it faced fresh competition from Tesla’s Cybertruck and the Chevrolet Silverado EV RST, both of which challenged its reign as America’s top-selling electrical truck. With its impressive EV lineup, Ford is attracting a significant portion of newcomers to the brand, as 62% of F-150 Lightning and 54% of Mach-E prospective buyers are switching from rival automakers.
