GOTRAX GX – $999

Gotrax has unequivocally reaffirmed its intention to develop and manufacture high-performance twin-motor efficiency scooters when the time is right. Among the electric bicycles we’ve reviewed, the GX3 stands out as an exceptional value at under $2,000. Here is the rewritten text: We uniformly recommend the GOTRAX GX Zero (also known as the GOTRAX Ares) when considering electric scooters under $1,000.

GOTRAX has successfully connected with its target audience of budget-conscious commuters, college students, and new riders by offering a range of twin-motor scooters that cater to different needs and preferences, providing the option to upgrade for enhanced power or enjoy reliable performance at an affordable price.

We’ve successfully packed reliable performance into the GX Zero, a dual-motor scooter that’s accessible in its entry-level form, priced accordingly. Unfortunately, there is no app available for Gotrax scooters, nor does it feature regenerative braking or offer many options to customize the ride experience.

Notwithstanding the inventory configuration’s pleasantness, it effectively accommodates the typical traveler’s preferences for navigating this scooter.

If you’re not keen on the enhanced features of the GX1 and are willing to sacrifice them for a lower price point, then that’s okay – just opt out of the upgrades.

Who Is This Scooter For?

For novice riders seeking a reliable and straightforward-to-use scooter, the GOTRAX GX Zero delivers on its promise of speed and agility.

Although the GX Zero weighs in at approximately 66 kilograms, its portability is not compromised, allowing for effortless transport up flights of stairs. Additionally, the battery can be easily removed, recharged indoors, and secured outside with the scooter locked in place.

This versatile scooter is an excellent choice for both novice and experienced riders of all sizes, boasting a robust build with full hydraulic suspension, puncture-resistant tubeless tires, and a maximum rider weight capacity of 264 pounds.

Which electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer reigns supreme in the charging department? It’s not the newcomer on the block that you might think. Tesla, the pioneer of EVs, takes the top spot according to a recent study. Meanwhile, Volkswagen and Polestar have made significant strides in their own right. But let’s take it one step further – what about those tiny robots?

Chinese automaker BYD announces that its new compact SUV, the Seal 07, will debut on August 8 with a dual powertrain option featuring both Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) variants.

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra was unveiled in China, boasting an astonishing price tag of $114,000 and a whopping 1,500 horsepower.
