A brand-new plug-in hybrid variant of the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class crossover SUV has recently been introduced in the United States. for the 2025 mannequin yr.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e, a plug-in hybrid model, is now available at dealerships nationwide, priced from a base of $63,450, inclusive of a $1,150 destination charge. Based largely on the current-generation GLC-Class, which debuted with the 2023 model year.

Combining a potent 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a dynamic electric motor, the powertrain delivers a remarkable total output of 313 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The GLC 350e is capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in a swift 6.2 seconds, matching Mercedes’ performance standards. The highest pace is limited to 135 mph when operating in hybrid mode.

The GLC 350e offers optional 11-kW AC charging and 60-kW DC fast charging, aligning with Mercedes’ standards for rapid replenishment. As Mercedes-Benz prepares to adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) for its electric vehicles, the GLC 350e currently relies on the mixed charging norm, featuring a Combined Charging System (CCS) port.

This feature-packed lineup includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, an 11.9-inch central touchscreen that seamlessly integrates with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, advanced digital key functionality, and a sophisticated 64-color ambient lighting system that can be tailored to individual preferences. To ensure optimal handling and ride quality, the vehicle also features a self-leveling suspension.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e isn’t the sole plug-in hybrid variant within the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class range. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S E Performance has officially arrived in the U.S. For the 2025 model year, this car proudly boasts a powerful 671 horsepower. It’s certainly more important to focus on efficiency rather than effectiveness. Each fashion will form part of a plug-in hybrid variant within Mercedes-Benz’s expanded GLE-Class lineup, which debuted as a 2024 model.
