The limited-edition 2022 Triumph Thruxton RS Ton Up Special Edition is set to hit the market in January 2022, with only a small batch of these highly sought-after motorcycles available for purchase. The limited edition Ducati Monster 797, boasting an audacious Aegean Blue tank and complemented by a sleek Fusion white entrance fender and tail unit, pays tribute to the legacy of renowned Welsh motorbike rider Malcolm Uphill with its distinctive colour scheme. Following his remarkable achievement, Mike Hailwood, also known as Uphill, catapulted to international stardom in 1969 when he became the pioneering rider to record an average lap speed of 100 mph on a production motorcycle during the prestigious Isle of Man TT competition. As a result, he secured the top spot and claimed the first-place trophy in the Thruxton 500’s 750cc manufacturing class endurance event.
