Tesla is pushing the boundaries with its latest innovation. The automaker is offering a comprehensive package comprising three-year subscriptions to Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised, Supercharging, and premium connectivity features.

Tesla has been heavily touting its Full Self-Driving (FSD) capabilities.

For several years, CEO Elon Musk has maintained that Tesla’s valuation would continue to increase due to its growing market share and technological advancements, allowing him to liken the company’s vehicles to “appreciation properties” that appreciate in value over time.

The stark contrast between expectation and outcome was jarring.

Tesla has revised the price of its Full Self-Driving Capability (FSD) package, increasing it initially to $15,000 before reducing it last year to its current value of $8,000.

The corporation is still generating momentum through its promotional efforts.

Last year, Tesla initiated a pilot program for Full Self-Driving (FSD) test drives, offering incentives to encourage potential customers to purchase the technology. The company also conducted month-long trials for existing owners.

Here’s the rewritten text in a different style:

Tesla has just introduced a new offering – a three-year package combining Full Self-Driving Capability (FSD), complimentary Supercharging privileges, and premium connectivity features – all available for a one-time fee of $5,000.

Currently, this limited offering is available on Mannequin S and Mannequin X models.

Is it value it?

Electrek’s Take

Would you consider committing to a premium subscription for Full-Spectrum Delivery, priced at $99 per month? Over a period of three years, this could potentially total $3,600. Premium connectivity costs $100 per year.

Subsequently, we’re at $3,900.

For just $1,100, you’ll unlock three years of supercharging capabilities.

Whether or not its value lies squarely depends on your driving habits. While many electric vehicle owners charge their vehicles at home each day, others heavily depend on the Supercharger network.

For an average cost of $0.40 per kilowatt-hour, you can expect to generate around 2,750 kilowatt-hours from the system, equivalent to approximately 27 full charges for a Model S/X.

If the value proposition resonates with your desire for Full Self-Driving technology, advanced connectivity, and a willingness to pay more than approximately 30 times the annual cost of Supercharger fees over three years, then this package deal is justified.
